Enjoy relaxation and nature in the national park community of Schönau am Königssee
The family-run Haus Rosenbichl is located in Schönau am Königssee (Schwöb-Unterstein district) in a sunny and very quiet valley location (no traffic noise) on the edge of the forest and directly on the beautiful hiking and cycling path to Königssee and Berchtesgaden. The shady Königssee hiking and cycling path invites you to stroll, jog, walk, and cycle.
The sunny, non-smoking holiday apartment is modernly furnished and has one separate bedroom and two balconies.
In the garden, there is a guest seating area by the gently flowing pond, inviting you to relax.
The apartment offers fast, free Wi-Fi, and a comprehensive guest information folder is available. The host family knows the local mountains very well and can give you helpful hiking tips.
The house also has another holiday apartment with 82 square meters and two separate bedrooms, and an additional small children's room if needed. You can find more information on the website berchtesgaden-brandner.de.
The region's tourist highlights are easily accessible from Haus Rosenbichl:
You can even reach the picturesque Königssee on foot in just 30 minutes on a beautiful hiking trail along the Königsseer Ache (by car: 1 km or 2 minutes). The same route leads to the valley station of the new cable car to the Jenner mountain. This cable car takes you up to the wonderful panoramic mountain with its numerous hiking opportunities.
And all of this is easily accessible by public transport – the nearest bus stop is just a 5-minute walk away!
A modern, heated family outdoor swimming pool is only 1 km away! The "Alpinum" at the town hall is just a 10-minute walk away and offers a new Kneipp pool, a brine graduation tower for respiratory health, and a new children's playground.
Other amenities within a 10-minute walk include: numerous restaurants to suit all tastes (some with beer gardens and easily accessible on foot!), three bus stops, the tourist information office, the community center with a Kneipp facility, brine graduation tower, and children's playground, the "Haus des Gastes" (visitor center) with a library, a heated outdoor swimming pool with a water slide, doctors, a nearby rehabilitation clinic, shopping facilities (grocery store, bakery, butcher), a second-hand market (with affordable clothing), two cafes, a post office, a bank branch, doctors, Protestant and Catholic churches, and tennis courts.
The house is easily accessible (no hills!).
We look forward to welcoming you!
